Hi Everyone!
Dad, thanks for posting Mickey! Is that because having a google account is like being Mickey Mouse?
Highlights of today at the Carr/Roberts household: Walks - it was a gorgeous breezy day. Tim took Colfax for a long walk this morning, and Lucy and I took Colfax a long walk in the afternoon. He was a little tired!
Lacrosse! Alice and Lucy played lacrosse in the morning, and Tim and Lucy in the afternoon. And now Lucy is setting up a practice area for herself on the side of the house where I always wanted to build her a playhouse.
I actually got a fair amount of writing done this morning - learning so much about irrigation still. Did you know that the Uncompahgre Valley where Montrose is uses as much water as the entire state of Nevada and the entire Southern Half of California?! And 70% of what they grow there is just forage crops for cattle.
Homeschool failed for the day. Lucy was more interested in Lacrosse, walks, and general play. Ben went the store for us - and now we feel slightly more stocked! I baked some bread - and will do another loaf, but sadly the stores are out of yeast, so this might be the last loaf for a while.
Tim's been involved in the no-evictions movement here - and the Mayor has just announced a moratorium on evictions, so that's a relief.
Ben had his first remote cello lesson. I guess it went ok!
Here's a photo of the archive of my walk with Lucy. Please post photos and words here!
Love, Julie

Are you guys archiving your walks as a regular thing? what else is involved? I'm curious. Yay for tim & no evictions, especially now!
